Dr. Mehrdod Shakouri Eleezeh is a General Practitioner with diverse experiences. He has rigorously worked in challenging environments, including a two year obligatory wartime service, where he treated a large number of military personnel & civilians with injuries caused by gunshots, mine explosions, PTSD, Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), suicide attempts, scorpion stings, snakebites, and infectious diseases such as meningitis, typhoid fever, etc.
Dr. Eleezeh graduated from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, and Shahid Beheshti (Melli/National) University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran.
Dr. Eleezeh believes that a doctor’s role is not only to treat a disease but also to improve their patient’s quality of life and foster wellness. His long-term goal is to combine osteopathic and allopathic medicine with a unique whole-person approach to halt illness and injury.
